We are so lucky here in Sevierville. All you need is time and a little gas and you can have a wonderful day trip. My husband and I took advantage of our beautiful mountains this weekend with a drive on 441 over the mountains. Along the way we stopped to enjoy many lookout points. The colors were brilliant and we were just awe- struck by the distance we could see. It was a beautiful fall day and even the trees along the roadside were a site to behold. There were many hikers and leaf peeper enjoying our wonderful mountains. God has been good to us here in East Tennessee. Why don't you come and see for yourselves. We did and decided to stay! Katy
